The process of merger of the Eastern reinsurance company into the IC "Megapolis" was completed by setting up of the renamed company - the Eastern Insurance and Reinsurance Company.

Open Joint Stock Insurance Company "Megapolis" was renamed to Joint Stock Company "The Eastern Insurance and Reinsurance Company"(“EIRC”). The certificate of registration and record in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities was issued on May 20, 2011.

In the near future the forms of licenses to conduct insurance and reinsurance activities will be replaced. The relevant documents have been already filed with the Federal Financial Markets Service.

We remind you that the authorized capital of "EIRC", Ltd, amounts to 600 million rubles. The increase of the authorized capital was registered on 11 of May 2011. The company is the successor of the Closed Joint-Stock Company "The Eastern Reinsurance Company”.
